CON SURFBOARDS:
Con surfboards was established in 1959 by Santa Monican, Con Colburn. Throughout the 1960s Con Surfboards was one of the most successful companies.
Credit for the first nose riding model is claimed by Con Surfboards. The surfboard was made in 1959 and called the Wing Nose.
Many of the top surfers of the day surfed for the Con Team. Just a few of the recognizable names would be Ernie Tanaka, Corny Cole, Bill Clearly, Claude Cogden, Dale Dobson, Steve Bigler among others.
Con Surfboards produced some of the most successful model surfboards of the time.
