GORDIE SURFBOARDS
Gordon Duane was building surfboards as early as 1950 and created the very recognizable Gordie Surfboards label in the late 1950s.
Gordon was a member of the infamous Southern California “Hole in the Wall” gang. The Gordie label may not be as recognizable as some of the more successful surfboard builders of the day.
However, Gordie Surfboards made some of the most unusual, even bizarre surfboards of the 1960s.
Some of the more recognizable Gordie Models are:
- 1965- Mark V
- 1966- Nose Rider
- 1967- Lizard
- 1968- Assassin
- 1968- Middle Weight
